Dr. Carstens’ meticulous record speaks for itself. Not only is she a Mom of two young children, but she studied Pharmacy at North-West University, Medicine at Wits University, completed 7 years of internships, community service, and public service, and achieved a Diploma in Anaesthesia. She started full- time private GP practice in 2019.
In 2016, while still contributing to public service, the opportunity arose to continue the good work the Renewal Clinic was doing, so she grabbed it.
She was always interested in Aesthetics. Not having perfect skin herself, and suffering from problematic skin (eczema, acne, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and melasma) her entire life. And so she understands the psychological impact of skin pathology.
She aims to improve her patients’ quality of life by enhancing and managing their skin conditions and thus improving their confidence.
Dr. Carstens is always on standby at the Clinic to enable her team to provide the optimal treatments. She also specializes in Chemical peels, PRP treatments, Aquagold intradermal injections, Botulinum toxin injections, Hyaluronic Acid Filler, Thread Lifting, and prescribing the optimal home care products.
